Districtwide send-off set for Wednesday, March 1; State Tournament Details
During Regional playoffs, the Flour Bluff HS Girls Varsity Basketball team topped Austin High to secure a spot to the state tournament. This is the first trip to state for the program since 1980. Flour Bluff HS girls basketball will play Mansfield ISD Timberview HS on Thursday, March 2, at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Game time is 8:30 p.m.
Districtwide Send-Off
To celebrate the girls trek to state, campuses, students and staff of Flour Bluff ISD will take-part in a districtwide send-off. The team will travel around the district via a school bus and will be cheered on by students and staff before making their way to San Antonio for the state tournament. The districtwide send-off kicks-off at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1.
Tickets
Tickets for Thursday’s semi-final game are available at the FBISD Athletic Facility. Tickets are $16 each, cash only. Tickets will be sold on the following days and times:
Tuesday, February 28: 3 – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, March 1: 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Tickets will also be available for purchase on Thursday at the Alamodome Box Office for $19 each. Parking fee at the Alamodome is $15-$20.
