FBHS NJROTC brings home Superintendent’s Trophy from the New Mexico Military Institute’s JROTC Competition

Flour Bluff NJROTC traveled to Roswell, New Mexico, to compete in the 33rd Annual New Mexico Military Institute’s JROTC Competition on November 1st and 2nd. The Marksmanship and Physical Fitness Teams competed on Friday and the Drill and Color Guards competed on Saturday. The Flour Bluff NJROTC cadets were remarkably successful going up against some of the best Army, Navy and Marine Corps JROTC units in West Texas and New Mexico. The team earned top spots in a number of categories. In addition, they brought home the Superintendent’s Trophy for first place overall at the meet.

The Flour Bluff NJROTC are bringing home trophies and medals for the following events:

Sporter Marksmanship – 1st Place

Trent Carroll

  • 2nd place Prone
  • 2nd place Kneeling
  • 1st place Standing
  • 1st place Overall

Noah Christiansen

  • 2nd place Standing
  • 3rd place Overall

Robert Torres – 4th place Overall

Armed Drill – 2nd place Exhibition Performance

Unarmed Drill

  • 2nd place Regulation Commander
  • 2nd place Regulation Performance
  • 1st place Exhibition Performance

 

Color Guard
